2003, 50th & Broadway subway stop, downtown side. Dorian was paid to sing in public for the very first time. Spending years busking, singing covers and originals, finding his audience. He became part of Music Under New York and he could be seen regularly in high-profile locations throughout the system. Dorian also began performing in some of Manhattan’s most popular music venues, transforming his audience from strap-hangers to a live music following. He independently financed and produced two LPs, one EP and two singles of original music. He won a reality show by the popular vote of the TriState area . He opened for Chris Isaak and Gary US Bonds and has played the Beacon Theatre and performed the halftime show for the New York Liberty live at Madison Square Garden. His music has been used by and featured on MSG and MTV. Dorian calls his R&B/Pop/Rock style Bohemian Soul. His vocal resonance, thought-provoking lyrics and musical evolution offer new firmware for your heritage devices
